Striated Pardalote
These birds are incredibly small (roughly the same size a a finch) and very twitchy requiring a high shutter speed at times. This particular animal is in the process of building a tunnel in the side of a dirt hill with it’s 5 companions, of which it will use as a nest for its babies when the weather begins to cool. They are very hard and dedicated workers and even if you are close to the nest they will continue to build and feed their babies.
